Okay, here goes….
I have a lot of facial hair. A LOT!
I shave it! IT’s really that bad. Waxing doesn’t do it! Nair~nope. Nothing works. IT is terrible!!! I cannot afford electrolisis.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions on how I can look hair free on the big day~for the whole day????

Oh boy, you shave your face multiple times a day? That might be part of your problem, if you have thick coarse hair….
Laser treatments would be worth the money for me, if I had that problem. Try a nicer brand of hair removal, like nair. Avon’s skin so soft worked well for me on my bikini area back in the day. There are lots of options…but please stop shaving it. Not helping you at all.

Firstly, have you gone to see your dr to see if this is a hormonal problem that can be fixed? I would recommend threading. Groupon/living social usually have deals for laser hair removal packages that you could save up for.

Yes, I have this exact problem. I do NOT shave though, I just use a conair microtouch personal trimmer. Shaving is just a no no it can cause ingrown hairs and make the hairs coarse. I got laser hair removal which took some of the darker hair away but electrolysis left scarring, I would HIGHLY suggest to STAY AWAY from electrolysis. Laser treatments are pretty costly but they do work on darker hair. If you only have a ton of peach fuzz on your face I would suggest just using the microtouch trimmer or something like that. Try not to shave though….

@snowshoebride: STOP SHAVING! That will make your problem worse, I would go see a professional waxer, they will be able to wax it safely! (drug store wax kits suck and are not the same!)

Get the laser treatment. It is somewhat expensive, but it is LIFE CHANGING. You have time to complete treatments between now and your wedding.

Try a bellabe, it’s cheap, quick, portable, some areas can be painful but you get used to it. It takes several hairs out at once from the root, leaves the skin smooth not rough (unlike the trimmers.)
Laser didn’t work for me, doctors can offer you contraceptive pill, yamine or dianette which are ment to help and can prescribe vaniqa cream, I found dianette helped, the cream did a bit, usually mixed reviews, but again, it’s worth a try!

I would wax/ thread it depending. Threading is a skill you could probably learn quite quickly for little touch ups at home. Frankly I find it too painful for anything barring eyebrows. I ama big champion of waxing. Look out for special offers at local salons on laser hair removal/groupon or living social are also quite good.
