Love that you were proposed to on a crustacean. epic story.
Congrats! I can’t for the life of me figure out that towel! It looks like a crab but has a stinger like a scorpion, ahh!
What a STUNNING ring. Wow! Beautiful story : ) Congrats!
Congratulations! What a great story!
AWWWW I <3 destination proposals! Stunning ring. Congratulations!
What a beautiful ring!! My husband proposed to me on our first cruise together, after our day in Puerto Rico. It was also in our room, because he said he was too nervous to do it at formal night, and had a dream that I would say no in front of all those people!! Of course, he knew i would say yes, but he was still really nervous. I thought it was adorable!
Beautiful congrats on your engagement.
Congratulation! STUNNING ring! 🙂
haha this is awesome – our proposal stories are nearly identical, cruise ship + sickness on formal night + Mexico and all! How funny 🙂 Congratulations – that ring is gorgeous!
Congrats! And your ring is gorgeous!
that ring is AAAAAMAZING!! congrats!
Congratulations! I can’t not mention your ring…it is absolutely STUNNING!! I’d love to hear about it…is it an antique?
Congratulations! Too cute. And that is a stunningly gorgeous ring! Good job to your Fiance. 🙂
Thanks everyone for the congrats! And the kind words on my ring. When it got posted by the designer on their facebook page and some people said some mean things about it, it made me a little sad but everyone is entitled to their (mean and wrong ) opinions. It suits me perfectly and that’s all that matters.
@soon2bS: This was my first real cruise, so my first experience with towel animals. They sure are cute!
@Keltaena: We couldn’t have collected them if we wanted. They kept taking them, or I guess, using those towels to make new animals.
@mwitter80: A crustacean lmao I hadn’t thought of it like THAT!
@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: Another night we had one that looked like the cross between the Michelin Man and a gorilla/ape. So yeah, this one might be a hybrid, too.
@MrsSl82be: Speaking of dreams, I kept having nightmares that the diamond was made of play-doh .
@KristenGotMarried: The Gulf of Mexico must be out to get us with all this seasickness it keeps causing hahaha. Then again, it must be good luck, too, with all the cruise proposals that have to happen there.
@Jaynee: It’s just styled to look old. It’s a Verragio Venetian-5005P. When I first saw their rings (on a facebook ad!) I just knew I had to have one because I am a huge fan of intricate detailing. http://www.verragio.com/Verragio-Engagement-Rings/Venetian-Engagement-Rings/VENETIAN-5005P#section4
