This seems so weird to me, just needed some bee opinions about this!
So this guy I’ve been seeing a couple months…he’s a super sarcastic guy, but might have confidence issues, even though he’s stubborn and not modest at all….
I’m just gonna come right out and say it: He’s said multiple times that he has a small penis, especially when we started getting intimate. Just comments like “it’s so small!” and if I was like “no believe me, it’s not..” he’d be like “yes it is”
Now he hasn’t had a girlfriend in like 4 or 5 years…and he is a shorter guy…(like 5’8)…and i really don’t have a whole lot of personal experience to compare him to, but he is not small and I’m not sure why he would say that.
Shouldn’t most guys want to try to boast how big it is, or at least say it’s average? Is it a confidence issue? Have any of your SOs said this stuff?

If he’s not small and just saying that, my guess is he is just saying it for attention and probably wants you to tell him that its not and boost his ego.

Yeah, sounds like a huge insecurity issue he has. I’m guessing someone from his past commented on it being small, and so now he’s all in his head, worried that you’re not going to like it. Just keep complimenting him, and show him that he knows what he’s doing. 😉

I’m guessing it’s one of two things: [1] he’s insecure about his size or [2] he wants you to say how big it is. If he’s insecure, that can be due to a number of things. For exmple, one of my closest guy friends dated a girl who was awful to him emotionally. She made him quit talking to me. She also convinced him that he had a small penis (to be fair I have no clue how big or small his penis is). She was insulting his masculinity in many ways, so I assume he is average and she was just being mean. Now,it could also be that he compares himself to the size of others penises he sees, especially in pornography. He could also just want to hear you oooh and ahh over his amazing penis.

Small is a matter of perspective.
You or I may think his size is just right…
BUT if he is a guy who plays a lot of sports, and therefore has seen a lot of guys naked, he may indeed feel that his “average” member is not as big as some of the others he’s seen in the locker room.
His hang up… not yours.
(And yes men can be stupidly insecure about this… as someone who has had my share of Lovers I have to say I DON’T GET IT… like the old saying goes “size doesn’t matter so much… it is what you can do with it that does” )
In the end, unless one’s penis is truly tiny (barely able to get past the gates, small)… there IS NOT AN ISSUE
I personally wouldn’t dwell on the size so much (as it just to me sounds dumb / forced) and spend your efforts on praising him for what really matters
Whether he is a good BF, makes you happy, rocks your world etc.
Because in the end, that is what truly matters in a relationship…

What a turn off – regardless whether it’s true or not saying stuff like that isn’t exactly a mood enhancer.
Next time he says it, I would say that you are obviously happy with the equipment otherwise you wouldn’t be there, and it’s kind of a mood-killer when he puts himself down like that.
I wouldn’t be able to handle a guy whining about his penis every time we did it.
