I find that thongs “break the wind”, resulting in silent farts.

If you can find a way to fart silently, everyone just has to ponder where/who the smell came from

hennelady :  I don’t wear thongs often because I find they rub and I haven’t worn them enough to build up tolerance!!

I did however fart in one once and I have to say that is a weird expirience. It’s like the string separates the air into two directions. Instead of a solid single honk, your fart ends up coming out like a punctured bicycle tyre where it hisses slowly and for longer!  Totally weird but I’m glad someone else kse noticed what a fart does whilst wearing a thong/g-string! I don’t feel like such a weirdo now for taking note between a thong and full briefs fart!! 🀣

briannahong :  lmao! Omg now I figured out what to get my fiancé for Christmas. Thanks!

cmsgirl :  I understand, it was super weird at first but I did build up a tolerance (I don’t think the seamless underwear was an option at the time) now it feels awkward to me when I wear “full butt” underwear. I honestly can’t say I’ve heard the deflating bicycle tire sound lol

This thread is killing me! πŸ˜‚

But seriously, if you want to change your farting ways then it just takes practice. My family was very much into not farting publicly, we used to just leave the room or go to the bathroom or whatever. Everyone farts, it’s just about fitting in with whatever’s appropriate for that situation (ie. don’t fart around people at work, but when you’re home alone or in your car it’s fine lol). xo

brittnamrogo :  ya I dont get it. All those times in public where someone broke wind and made us all suffer from their putrid stenches (on planes, in lines, etc), I assumed it was an elderly person or someone who was ill and gave it a pass. From this thread I’ve learned that there’s a real possibility that it was just some unmannered ass who thinks it’s cute.

Wow some people are so uptight! Calling OP disgusting seems a little over the top. I am also mostly vegeterian and have had some very uncomfortable car rides having to hold in farts, so I feel your pain OP. I doubt OP thinks it’s “cute.” Sometimes people just really have to fart. It’s not gonna kill anyone to smell something stinky for a few seconds every now and then. But then again, I teach young children so maybe my fart tolerance is higher than most.

My FH and I fart in front of each other. To us it’s nbd. We usually give each other a warning, or run to the other room if we can. But I’m gonna be in the same room as him for a large portion of my life, so I’ll be damned if I’m gonna hold in all my farts.
