I’ll share with the Bees my embarrassing problem because if anyone has any ideas, I’d love to hear them!
I have the loudest stomach ever! I eat breakfast, carry water with me, and it seems like no matter what you can hear my stomach from across the room. When I am in a meeting or a quiet environment, it’s clear thats its me and I don’t know how to handle it. It happens when I feel just fine, my stomach isn’t upset, I’m not gassy, and I’m not hungry.
How can I get rid of my noises?

Oh my goodness, I have the same thing. I used to get so embarassed in high school & college when it was silent if we were taking a test or something, and then here comes the grumbling! I really haven’t found much that helps other than constantly snacking. Hopefully some other bees have some better advice.

@MrsMaine: thank you i’m not alone!! Right now it’s so loud and I’m trying to hide it. Why does it only happen when I need to be quiet, haha?

@Pupperoni: Haha when I used to feel it coming on I’d go into a fake coughing fit to cover up the noise!!!! So embarassing.

Have you tried carrying around protein shakes or almonds? Sometimes I’ll carry around protein water or Slim Fast shakes because it keeps my stomach from getting grumbly.

That happens to me too! So embarrassing, haha~ I’ve tried water, but that seems to make it worse.. the only trick I’ve been able to use is to snack regularly. Keeping healthy doing it is difficult though, so I use nuts, since they seem to be more filling.

I have this problem all the time!! My stomach particularly hates awkward silences in conversation. I wish I had a solution for you!
ETA: My stomach is actually carrying on a conversation with itself at the moment.

That happens to me, too! I’m an instructor at a community college and my stomach is always at its loudest when the students are all sitting quietly writing an essay. Embarassing! I don’t have any advice, though.

This is me too! It was the worst when I was in school and the room was quiet, but now in presentations at work it growls too. People always think I’m hungry, but I’m not. I’ve noticed coffee makes it louder.
I also carry a granola bar or almonds to eat when I hear it. But it’s not always feasible to just start munching. If you find something that works to stop it, I’d love to know.

My stomach is the worst! It makes the loudest noises when I’m hungry, digesting, and laying down (I think this one is particularly weird). I always carry something small to snack on for when I’m hungry, but I don’t know how to stop the noises for when I’m digesting/laying down. It’s very strange. My SO laughs at my loud stomach all the time.
