When I was younger I drank WAY too much and got sick at my cousin’s wedding…not too many people knew about it but the people that do know about it never let me live it down.  I was mortified and everytime I see that part of the family they remind me of it!

How about when my Grams got drunk for the first time ever and peed all over herself at the reception? Oh yeah, that happened.

Our thank you speech went missing out of my purse, so when Darling Husband and I got up to the podium I told everyone what had happened, thanked as many people as I could remember, and I think had a few gaps of silence while I tried to remember what else I wanted to say. Needless to say, I forgot 3/4 of who I needed to thank and I still feel awful about it.

This wasn’t embarrassing as much as awkward but last year I went to a friends wedding a catholic church. It wasn’t my first time going to a catholic church but it was my first catholic wedding. I’m not sure if this is how they all are, but the priest literally mentioned the couple having kids at least 15 times during the ceremony. Then at the reception, all the speeches included it too.

(and I don’t mean to offend anyone, I was just simply a little shocked at how many times it was mentioned)

@Linz1231: Wow… just wow.

I was at a family friend’s wedding when I was in high school. It was at this SUPER fancy hotel.

I walked into the bathroom and one of the bridesmaids was holding the brides grandmother’s hair back while she puked.

Yup… grandma had too much to drink. That’s when we decided it was time to go home.

@Linz1231: Wow! Do you have that on video? Oh my gosh! Does your poor grandma remember this??

I can’t believe I’m admitting this on here because I’m still super embarrased about it, even though only my husband and mom know about it. Anyway, while dancing on the dance floor at the reception I saw what looked like a tissue near me, so I kicked it to the side and thought, “Ew!” Well, fast-forward until after the reception when I went to finally pee. I found toilet paper stuck everywhere “down there” and realized that the piece on the dance floor fell out of my dress!! You can even see it on the dance floor in our wedding video. Oh my gosh…I just hope nobody saw it come out. (Hopefully not, because my dress was floor-length) But this is advice to women wearing floor length gowns, make sure you get the toilet paper IN the toilet. <sighs> It was so difficult to use the bathroom with the huge dress. Oops. I wonder if I’m the only bride who has ever done this? lol

@Linz1231: I’ve seen you post snippets of the craziness that was your wedding. I cannot wait for the full recaps.
