I didn’t know where else to ask this without getting laughed at.
So I’m a virgin, but sometimes fool around with Fiance (including him rubbing or “playing” with my nether regions.”
Sometimes when I am really turned on, a few hours later I find a booger type thing coating my vaginal (inner) lips. Its really strechy/stecky and clear. It honestly looks exactly like a booger (TMI I’m sorry)
What does this mean? Does it have to do with being sexually excited? I don’t know much about intimacy or what goes on down there, to be honest :/

Depending on the time of the month, our vaginas have different types of discharge- at times compared to egg whites. It can be thick and sticky- so I guess bugery!
Also,You are probably getting excited during the fooling around, and women produce their own from of lubrication, which may also be what you are finding.

Not to worry, that is perfectly normal. It is your bodies natural lubrication or a female ejaculatory fluid. When you get excited your body naturally prepares itself with the natural lubrication in anticipation of sex.

No laughing here, but since you’re old enough to be engaged, you’re definitely old enough to learn about sex, your body and how it all works. Book an appointment with your gyno and ask away!

Very normal to have this type of vaginal discharge, even without sexual play. I recommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility!

@soembarassed11: Everything south of the border there is mucous membranes, so yup, you’re correct to see the resemblance to what comes out of your nose (another mucous membrane area). When people refer to “getting wet,” this is what they mean — just a normal side effect of arousal. People who don’t produce enough of that use synthetic lube to help the process along!

It happens to me a lot…even before I was sexually active. It’s totally normal!

I have to agree with @Miss Apricot:. I totally wish I had read this book 20 years ago. I understand my body so much better now.

Definitely normal, and I definitely echo the other bees that it’s time to get acquainted with your body + sexual health. There are a lot of great books out there, and I also reccommend the website VaginaPagina, which has tons of great, informative articles on almost every aspect of female sexual health.

@Miss Apricot: I bought this book a few months ago and I think should be required reading for every woman.
