So I really like the idea of personalized cocktail napkins for at least the cocktail hour. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any site that would just allow me to upload my own image to have printed on napkins, and I wanted my monogram on the napkins.
Well, last week, I was a very happy DIY bride because among other things I got my custom stamps, and today my napkins came in! It was like $25 for 600 3ply purple cocktail napkins!
And here is my first attempt at embossing them:
I’m REALLY happy with how they turned out!
1 down, 599 to go…hahaha
PS – while I emboss fi always sings his new version of that song “Bossy” but instead of saying “I’m bossy” he says “I’m bossin'” hahahahah

@MandaMack: Did you just use the embossing powder or did you also use the heat gun?
They turned out so cute, I would love to do something personal like that. Especially since we are going all out with the cocktails.

@tksjewelry: I used the heat tool. I actually want to take a video of it because the powder itself is a dark grey/coppery color, but after it’s heated it turns gold, lol. Using the heat tool ensures that even if the napkin gets wet it won’t leak ink on people (it like seals it).
A lot of time will go into getting these all done, and odds are very few people will notice, but I just love the little details that make a wedding personal, so it’s worth it to me!
