Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy an embossing heat gun? I’d like to emboss my invitations as well as some cocktail napkins….
I tried an iron and it worked- OK- I tried it two different ways….. hovering it right over my stamp (with embossing powder applied) and it raised nicely and looked great, but it was kind of a pain and took longer than I thought.. I also tried covering it with a piece of paper and then ironing it, but it didn’t raise well and kind of looked burnt.. any suggestions?
… I’ve heard of using a hair straighter, haven’t tried it yet though…
thanks for the help…

I bought mine at hobby lobby witha 40% off coupon, it was $19.99 regular priced. That is the cheapest I have seen them, I have seen more expensive ones too.
Places I have seen them at for 19.99 (I’d suggest a place that offers nice coupons).
Also check online you may find a scrapbook/craft wholesale website where it is cheaper. Even ebay.
Before I bought one I barrowed my dads heat gun (it gets really hot compared to a craft one LOL), I also tried a blow dryer that just blew the embossing powder off. I suggest just buying one it is quick, easy, and efficent.

I bought an embosser at Michaels.. I hated it. I don’t think it was so much the embosser itself though. I just wasn’t cut out for it, got frustrated and returned it. It was only SLIGHTLY used, but according to my return story I hadn’t taken it out of the box (lol… hey I was DIY’ing, obv that means a tight budget!)
