@krayzay87:  Maybe it’s just the lighting, but honestly, I would’ve never noticed that if you hadn’t said something. I think you have beautiful, long, slender fingers!

@nearly-mrs-R:  Thank you! It is actually new – I fell in love with it when I had no idea about jewellery styles and didn’t discover what a “vintage” style it was until I was searching for wedding rings.

@chronicwhimsy:  Thanks! I love my sidestones too. I thought I would be a solitaire girl as well! I like how three stone rings draw the eye across the finger and look very “balanced”. My mum has an amethyst so I have always had a soft spot for purple engagement rings like yours ๐Ÿ™‚

Hah! I love this thread! What a great idea.

I can’t take a pic of my hand right now, but I have a pic of when I first got my ring. I took it with an ipod and it’s all fuzzy (which is why I usually post the one my photographer took). But here it is:

@kateisstoned:  I can sympathize on the eczema!  I have had it since I was a little girl.  I started getting it on my hands when I was in college.  It took some time to get it under control, but it’s finally better.

I don’t know if you see a dermatologist for it, but the medicine he prescribed (which I only use when it starts to flare up) usually clears it in just a few days.  Also, to keep your hands moisterized, he recommended ceramide creams (Curel and Cerave both make them).  It’s worked wonders on my hands, arms, and legs.  I use the prescription stuff a lot less now.  I am lucky if I go through a tube a year, whereas before I was using a tube every couple of months.

@Birdi:  AHH!! That sounds awful! I can’t even imagine doing that, and the thought of just jamming it farther into my wrist? *gag*

Good luck with that! Tell me how it goes!
