the stats sound about right with what I can see from the picture.  The band looks like it’s got diamond on all 3 sides (is that right?)

its gorgeous, too!

Beautiful ring.  Emerald cuts are my favorite.

I’m not sure what you want to know.  Are you worried you paid to much for it? Are you worried you didn’t actually get what you thought you were buying?  Pavé settings are hard to measure the carat weight because the diamonds are so small and because of the way they are set.

The most important thing is whether you love the ring or not.  Do you love it?

I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

@RS521:  I think it’s definitely possible then if its 3-sided. I’ve definitely seen similar settings of that carat weight.  Do the diamonds go all the way around?  I have a similar setting only it’s not 3 sided and the diamonds stop halfway around the band. It’s about 0.5 I think.  So, if you added 2 more sides with diamonds, it would be getting up over that 1 carat range I would think.

Omg! I’m so sorry this happened to you.  The ring itself s beautiful, but you definitely need to sort things out with the seller.  Did theson line store provide you with appraisal papers?  Did they give you false papers?

@RS521:  At least you’re able to return it.  And, that style is gorgeous on your finger.  Good luck trying to find the real deal and I can’t wait til you come back and post happy threads with pictures of the ring you finally found that wasn’t a lie! 🙂

If the carat weight of the ring setting itself was 1.4 and you add the 0.94 carat weight of the center stone, that adds up to 2.34 total carat weight, maybe that’s what they meant? Hope you enjoy your new ring!
