Can you post a picture of your engagement ring on your hand?  My first thought is that 4mm emerald cuts would overwhelm your engagement ring.

Are you open to having one made for you? Stuller has mounts that your jeweler can buy and then they source the sapphires. If you use Chatham lab sappires the cost is very reasonable.

My jeweler just finished a ring for me and the Chatham sapphire is gorgeous!

Those are pretty! Personally I wouldn’t go over 3mm, but you have to decide what is pleasing to your eye.

Mine are 0.12 pointers and i think they’re around 2mm? maybe 2.5. this is a full eternity band 3.5 carats on size 5.5 finger. my engagement ring isnt technically a solitare, but has a thin pave band. 3 carat cushion cut center. Hope this helps!

Excuse my dirty ring and scraggly nails, but I wanted to help you out! The emerald cuts in my band are 4mm. I don’t have a solitaire, but I found a CZ stud that is equivalent to about 1.0 to 1.2 ct in size. I’m also a size 7. Hopefully this gives you an idea! (I love an emerald cut band, so I say go for it!)
