.91 of a carat. Emerald cut. White gold band, halo setting, with diamonds and a matching bridal band with diamonds. It was originally a solitaire but on our third wedding anniversary, my hubby took the ring to be “cleaned” and actually had the diamond put in a halo setting and added the bridal band. Then he re-proposed. It was pretty awesome and as much as I adored the original ring, I’m obsessed with the halo. π It gives it even more sparkle and a vintage feel. I actually sometimes also wear my wedding band in between the two bands…it’s a white gold Celtic knot band that matches my husband’s ring. But it’s not pictured here. π My husband spent months looking for the right diamond-he hated that the emerald cuts weren’t very sparkly so he actually waited until he found a jeweler that cut extra facets specifically into emerald cuts. This one sparkles like nobody’s business and nearly 8 years of marriage later, not a day goes by that I don’t clean it and spend time looking at it dreamily. π We also exchange rings & vows every morning of our married lives, so it’s easy to remember how important it is to me. I love it almost as much as I love the man who gave it to me. π We’re wedding photographers, so marriage and weddings are a huge part of our daily lives. π π π
