It’s not a solitaire, but mine has a yellow gold knife edgeish band and a 1 carat equivalent stone (7×5 moissanite). I find yellow gold to be timeless, there’s something very traditional about it that I love

Mine’s a 1.01ct moissy on a 1.7mm(?? or close) pave yellow gold band. I fricken’ love it, still can’t stop staring after 3 months 😍

Not a solitaire or yellow gold, but it gives you a perspective on what a 1 ct. looks like on the hand (size 8 chubby fingers).  I fell in love with emerald cuts when I found this one in an antique shop. It’s a 1.13 ct. center that’s H in color and SI2 in clarity. There’s a small white feather on one side that I notice, but, to me, that’s just my diamond’s fingerprint. She’s dirty in the photo above because it was taken on a weekend at the racetrack/waterpark.  However, even when dirty she reflects tons of tiny rainbows.  Good luck finding your dream ring. I know it will be lovely!

This is rose gold, not yellow, but it is an under one carat solitaire. It’s a half carat padparadscha sapphire (untreated which is why the color is subtle and not as vibrant as some padparadschas). No visible inclusions. The band is 1.77 mm on a size 6 finger.
