Emerald cut with side stones? (Especially round shape one?)

I don’t have an emerald, but that was my favorite setting too. He ended up with a similar James Allen ring instead:


I’d be a bit concerned with the Selene, due to the band only being 1.5 mm. It would be prone to warping. JA does also offer 25 percent off the setting sales, to make the cost more comparable. 

I think it’d look really nice with an emerald cut.

I don’t have round side stones, but mine is around the carat size you’re looking for. The center is a 1.13 ct diamond. I’ve recently been pairing her with this asymmetrical band that I found on sale.

magnolia5 :  if you go on the james allen site you can design your ring choosing a diamond first then setting. and they have amazing quality photos to have a good look!

Asscher cut (square version of emerald cut) with tapered baguette side stones. 0.91ct centre stone. I think round side stones would take away some of the attention from the  beautiful step cut asscher/emerald. They are so special – don’t distract away from them with fussy side stones

very delicate – I love it so much – just got it this week!!!
