Love everyone’s emeralds!!! Beautiful! I think they are the classiest cuts!! Honestly, pictures don’t do them justice. They have a sparkle all their own. Timeless rings!!

love, love, love!

Mibe is a 1ct center, with .45 on each side stone. 🙂

FutureMrs86:  I think they aren’t as popular because people want more sparkle but mine sparkles very much! When the light hits it you really do get blinded!

You all have such beautiful rings! Gorgeous! Emerald cut has always fascinated me.

A friend of mine is selling her emerald cut wedding set. It is a .5 ct G color VS2 emerald cut with baguettes in yellow gold 14k and 18k.

I didn’t really know that there were “styles” in wedding jewelry, but I guess there are, and this is an older style. ??

The diamond is very white with flashes when light hits it!

LOL Exactly! It’s weird, in a cool way. All is calm then there’s this wild flare/flash.

Your ring is beautiful<3!

This mighty be a silly question but do emerald cuts get dirty/ can you tell they are dirty faster than other cuts? I am on the market for a new ring and I am thinking about an emerald cut.

Ukulele4You:  IME, definitely. That’s the *sad trombone sound* part about ECs. LOL The busy sparkle of other cuts lets you go longer w/out cleaning.

That said, I actually don’t mind it.

ppresto:  It is new. I have been lusting after it for some time and have almost commited to it. My engagement ring is very old so the diamonds are a strange cut and do not sparkle very much. I really want something that flashes a little bit and for the reson you mentioned (the blinding light!) I am thinking I want an emerald cut. I am not sure if it is becasue you need a really high quality diamond to have an emerald cut, but you don’t see them in stores. It has made the selection process hard.
