Today I went to order my stepdaughters bridesmaid dress that I “saved with my info to order later” at the store. I told them I wouldnt be back for a few weeks, they said.. thats ok.. we will order it when you come back..
so today I went… they kept asking me are you sure it was this store.. IM NOT DUMB… YES IT WAS THIS STORE… then they said .. they dont have it anymore.. I said.. well its still on your website… they said.. are you sure its our website.. again I said yes. got on my phone.. found the picture of the dress ..ON THEIR WEBSITE… showed them and they said ..well heres what we have.. and directed me to the dresses … the dress isnt there… So I had them look again… they looked and said.. OH THAT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR A FEW WEEKS…. Ok did they discontinue it the day I went in a few weeks ago???.. So my problem is… they had my number.. couldnt they have called me and said.. we are about to discontinue this dress.. would you like to order it? .. Im so pissed off.. I walked out of the place before I went ape shit on their asses…
here I am … starting all over trying to find the perfect bm dress in the right color… these people SUCK.. sad 🙁

Sometimes they’re really bad at keeping their records and customer service varies by store but they tend not to be as one-on-one as smaller bridal shops. I’m really sorry you’re going through this 🙁 Can you order it through the website? Maybe there’s another store in the country that has it still?
One really big sign that a dress is going to be discontinued is that it’s on sale, but how did they not tell you that it was going to be discontinued? That’s outrageous!

That does suck, I would be upset too. What dress/brand was it? Maybe we could help you find it on another site for you to order or help you find something similar. I’m surprised the shop didn’t take the time to try and help you find something else.

I had a similiar incidence recently… Only my problem was they literally took the items from the grament bag while it was in layaway and when approached they acted like they did nothing wrong. Sure hope that it’s not the same place I had dealt with because if so, you can bet it’s an ongoing charade of bs all over the globe.
Sorry that you were mistreated, lied to and played for a fool. Hope you can find another bridesmaid dress some place else that actually gives a damn about you as a customer.

Im 0 for 2 now….lol.. went to another place that had a dress I fell in love with.. had measurments done on my girls.. they went to order them… DISCONTINUED.. that was the last one possible.. oY.. a little discouraged.. but onwards I go.. by the way.. this is the second.. discontinued dress I was going to get.. in purple.. from alfred angelo.. oh well .. NEXT..lol
yes I know.. i have different taste.. we were going to put crinonline underneath and make them more fifties… oh well .. blah!
