I haven’t gone toooo nuts but for me its…
miu miu wedding shoes – 600
Rag and Bone Newbury boot (perfection) – 500
and in the depths of a bad winter SADs last year…. I bought a 700$ canada goose coat. I do feel bad about the fur on the hood. I bought it rashly and should have looked into alternatives BUT it is legit the warmest coat ever and makes me fearless in winter and has a lifetime warranty.
My 30th bday is this summer though, and I’m getting myself YG diamond bezel pendant and earrings. 🙂

Go go go go gooo! Buy it! I got a super deal on a diamond necklace once, but my economy wasn’t great at that point, and I was afraid that I would not be able to pay rent, lol, so I dodn’t buy it, then everything turned out great anyway and I always regretted not buying it! Lol.
I found a gorgeous necklace when me and my Boyfriend or Best Friend went on our first trip together, in Amsterdame, and he promised that he will buy it for me the next time we are in Amsterdam (We had run out of money at that time)… and guess what all my holiday suggestions are now? lol.

I bought a pair of Rene Caovilla sandals last summer that were around $1,300 I think. I also bought two Chanel bags on a trip to NYC a few months ago – one m/l flap and one mini size.. I think it was around 8-9k total. Fashion is definitely my biggest splurge – after my first few purchases I got over the guilt really quick lmao.

I’m pretty cheap so I had a hard time coming up with stuff I treat myself too.
I realized the biggest thing I treat myself to is a trip back home without Darling Husband almost every couple of years. The plane ticket is about $300 and then I spend another $200-$300 on activities with friends/family while I’m there.
ETA: I just realized that most of the stuff Darling Husband and I spoil each other with is food or experiences.

Agree with all the other PPs! Treat yo’ self!
I gave myself a Macbook Pro when I was accepted into my major six years ago and had/have no regrets! Still works like a charm.
And my other biggest gifts to myself are yearly trips with my best friend. We don’t always travel very far (last year it was just to a small mountain town an hour away from where we live) but we’ll splurge a little when there and go to a spa, eat at a fancy restaurant and just generally spoil ourselves a little. No regrets there either!

diddles112230: Funny, I too often spend on vacations but feel guilty spending elsewhere on myself. I guess I think vacations are experiences last forever in a way.
When I’d met some financial goals, I splurged on 1.6 ctw diamond studs. I wear them all the time, plan to wear them on my wedding day and am excited to have something to pass down one day. Go for it!

Different economic place than most and we’re TTC so money’s tight as we save for IF treatments. But after some bad test results right before Christmas, I bought myself new jeans and a top I loved and made me feel great even with the bloat from fertility drugs. It was under $50 total, but it made me feel WAY better about myself and the whole situation.

I buy a lot of clothes and shoes but never spend over about £50 on individual items otherwise I wouldn’t be able to buy so many haha!!!
Saying that when I was 16 I saved up all my birthday and Christmas money (my birthday is near Christmas so I get everything at once!!) and bought a gorgeous coat for £150. It was so unusual and was hand stitched. I was in love with it! Ironically though I’ve only worn it a handful of times because I’m always scared something will happen to it – I’m 29 now so it’s languished in my closet for 13 years!!!!
Id love to treat myself so a ring, not a replacement engagement ring but maybe one I could wear on my right hand. Ibe seen a couple for about £300-£500 but I’m always too chicken to take the plunge! Lol!!!

$875 gold Gucci platform heels….
I have having a terrible time, things were really bad with my Ex and I was feeling really down in the dumps… So I treated myself to something nice that made me smile…. I’ve worn them Twice and although they were beautiful they remind me of a very bad time in my life and I’ve contemplated selling them…. Sorry to be such a Debbie downer! Lol

Hmm I’ve bought myself a couple nice purses and technology related items but I think my most pricey will be my 3 horses.

I spent around $1200 to visit my best friend in PA for a week during peak tourist season. We hadn’t seen each other for nearly eight years and my gut told me that this might be the only time I could pull off a solo cross-country trip for a similar stretch of time, so I did it with DH’s blessing. We had fun and hit up all of the tourist places. We ate out almost every day. I also fell in love with a sterling and sodalite cabochon necklace while we were shopping and picked it up for about $80 on sale, and I brought back two expensive tins of Capital Teas as a souvenir for Darling Husband who LOVES tea.
As far as material objects go, I’ve never spent more than $200 on myself. I just feel too guilty! It’s why most of my jewelry is semiprecious and silver or vermeil.

Um… A bunch…. D: Most expensive gift I didn’t need? Basically my entire handbag collection, consisting of a few LV’s and MK, along with a few other higher brands. The most recent things I just splurged on were a new MK crossbody, a new LV wallet, and some Burberry and Chanel make-up. In my defense, I have been stressed out a lot lately (retail therapy is my go-to, sadly :P), and I travel with Darling Husband a lot and am in several very upscale settings on the weekly where I actually do have to look well off. Even then I kind of fail sometimes. I nearly got kicked out of a casino recently for wearing MK flip flops. Apparently expensive flip flops are still flip flops and against dress code, even when the rest of you could get into a white house gala. (yes, yes I am still bitter about this :P)

diddles112230: for myself? My VW Bug. Used and I financed it for ~$7000. I did that after I graduated high school.
My FH just bought himself a Surface Pro 4 and a 4K monitor. Total ~$2700.

I bought myself a pair of diamond earrings with the intention on wearing them on my wedding day. My ex and I broke up 2 months before the wedding, and I contemplated returning them (they were from Costco which has an amazing return policy) but I said screw it and kept them. I wear them all the time and don’t feel guilty!

A Baume & Mercier watch. I bought it my first year of practicing law as a gift to myself.
