In Orange County there is Hamilton Oaks Winery that has a very rustic feel.  You already checked out the other one I was going to reccommend.

Have you checked Big Bear?  That is a mountainous area in the inland empire.

ETA: there is also the Wayfarer’s Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes (LA).  I’m not sure if they do receptions but it would have been $3k for me to do a ceremony there on a Saturday.

My SIL got married at the Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont in the foothills. It was beautiful- may be worth checking out!

2muchfreetime:  I’ve been looking for the same thing! Take a look at Anaheim Oak Canyon Nature. Its a ceremony only location though. I actually visited Pine Rose two weekends ago and plan to have my wedding there 🙂
