1.  We did the same thing.  The information for the ceremony and for the reception were listed on one card.  We ordered from a company that only does the paper and then had our planner design the invites and sent them to the printer.  Ordering additional paper for a reception card just seemed like an unnecessary expense.

2.  I think it’s totally find to mix and match.  As long as everything has a cohesive look it doesn’t all have to be exactly the same.  We have patterened paper, green paper, purple pockets, and lighter green envelops and RSVP cards so ours were all over the place but they all looked beautiful together.
