After looking through a ton of pictures on my phone I came across a picture of the engagement ring i would have had if i didnt find my current ring. The differences were huge, were anyone elses original e ring choices different than your current ring? Id love too see pictures to if you have them, before and after.

I went from this:

To this:

And finally, I’m going to be getting this with a light pink oval sapphire:

Honestly, I love the first setting but the whole set (diamond + setting) was way too expensive for my and FI’s financial situation at the moment so I returned it. It’s getting discontinued too so oh well. The Verragio is definitely nice though.

I originally liked this Tacori setting and we were going to get it with a 2-3 ct diamond. But when I tried it on I actually hated it. It stuck up way too much and was just not very “me” at all.

So I ended up with something totally different with a sapphire center stone:

@BrittanyE: well, both are absolutely gorgeous! i would wear both (but one would have to be a sim for me to afford it – lol). I am currently looking for a halo and am thinking about a colored gemstone also. My husband thinks I am a nut…..I never even thought about different rings until I joined this site – lol!!!!! i have total ring envy AND my tastes have changed. I know I will always go back to my original but I want a few to change up. I am jealous of Jcent’s rings and love the way she can rock them all.

@BrittanyE: I absolutely *love* your sapphire. I’ve never seen sapphire set like that before it’s a total showstopper.
