@best10612:  You can do accents of yellow, plum, or gray as well.  =)

I would consider adding in accent colors, like yellow and gray to break it up….. what color are your girls wearing?

At first YES. But then some people mentioned it. So I decided to go orange in some parts of the wedding, but stay away from it in the outfits. The dresses and vests are a dark rich brown called Truffle. Its a gorgeous color.

Good luck. It is hard.

Can’t they do black tuxes with brown ties/vests/cumberbunds… whatever way they are going to match the BMs dresses maybe? Men wear black tuxes in weddings that have no other black all the time.

I don’t really consider the Black Tuxes to be part of the wedding colors. While you wouldn’t wear brown shoes with black pants, I don’t see why brown in your wedding will clash with the black in the Tuxes. If I were to do a fall wedding, I would go with leaf colors. A deep red, orange, yellows, and browns. Sexy!

The black tuxes actually look good with chocolate/truffle colored vests/ties. My best friend/MOH has those colors as her wedding..us girls wore truffle and the guys had black suits with truffle vests. For my wedding we’re going black suits with latte vests/ties and either guava or latte pocket swatch thingies (sorry can’t think of the name lol). My BM’s are wearing latte and my jr BM’s are wearing guava.

we’ve got black purple and orange, we chose black suits because the groomsmen already have black suits, they will have purple ties, flowers are oranges and purples and Bridesmaid or Best Man and Flower Girl are both in Deep Purple, I think with everything else we have, like rustic accesories etc I can’t see it looking halloweeny at all, as long as they are not wearing black and orange stripes then I don’t think you should worry, one here with black, browns and oranges

Same problem- trying to do yellow and gray to not have orange and black only.
