First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! In the end, it all comes together πŸ™‚ Yes, it’s a litle harder  – we ourselves have 3kids! A 20 years old (his son), a 12 years old (my daughter) and our beloved little bee, 4 years old. The more blessings you have to celebrate!!

Congratulations!  I am sure it is a shock for you, but you (and your FI) seem to be dealing with it very well.

Also, the beach wedding idea sounds amazing!!!! Good Luck with the wedding planning, and your pregnancy!!!!!!!!!

First off, I know you don’t think it is the most ideal timing, but I want to say congrats anyways! Mostly as a jealous person πŸ™‚

As for getting married, I am planning my wedding in 6 months. It is entirely possible IF you have the finances together right now.

If not, one of my really good friends had an almost identical “oops” moment when she realized she was pregnant a few weeks after getting engaged. They ended up getting married anyways and she was quite a pregnant bride. She loves it because she says that looking back you know it was almost like all three of them were up there.

Finally, as much as you want to set a good example for your soon-to-be step-kids, I don’t personally think that marrying someone JUST because they are pregnant is always the best example, and I know thats not what you are doing, but that is what they might see or think. I grew up with friend who married an abusive man because he got her pregnant and it was horrifying. Juuuust something to think about, depending on their ages.

Congratulations! It sounds like you are both happy, even if the timing isn’t perfect. But this is an extra reason to celebrate, so you will have a wonderful wedding. πŸ™‚

Congrats πŸ™‚

Have you decided whether you’ll be moving the date up or leaving it as is?  Or are you still just letting the shock settle in?

Congratulations!  I think you shouldn’t worry about ‘setting an example’, just do what feels right to you – isn’t being true to yourself the best sort of example you could set?.  Your wedding will be magical no matter what, and if you end up having one more person to share with, I think that will be great tool
