KittensBee : Sounds like we have that Type A thing in common =) Another mantra is: “I must accept that which I cannot control.” SO much easier to say than do, but helps me to take a step back when I’m feeling anxious and reevaluate what’s going on to gain focus/perspective. My anxiety and Type A tendencies make it difficult to accept and deal with things not going according to plan, but that’s where the first mantra comes in (Plan Bs often being better than Plan As). Be honest with yourself and how you feel, step back from stressful situations and really think WHY something is affecting you a certain way (oftentimes, it’s much worse in ours heads than reality). Deep breaths, all will be well!

Moonrise : You are my new hero, seriously. EVERY WORDS YOU SAID. My fiance also tells me the same thing, but it’s so hard to step back when emotions are pouring over in the moment, lol. I really appreicate your advice.
