I woke up on Tuesday thinking it was just your average Tuesday… But my amazing boyfriend (now fiancé) made it the best day of my life.
He said we were going to meet my sister for lunch, and that was nothing out of the ordinary.
When we arrived, there were bouquets of flowers everywhere and a guitarist playing in the corner. My boyfriend started dancing with me as the guitarist started playing our song unexpectedly! Then he told me to close my eyes, and when I opened them he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes!
All of the sudden people started pouring out of hiding spaces! My friends, my family, my parents, all of our important people just poured into the room, smiling and clapping. I was in SHOCK. Happiest day of my life.
And to top it off, I’m in love with my ring! I was totally shocked because he has very different that in rings than I do. He loves super geometric and modern with lots of hard lines, and I love round and soft and simple. And he chose this ring all on his own, and it’s 100% my taste. It’s my dream ring. I can’t believe it. I have to keep looking down at my finger to remind myself that the man, the proposal and the ring wasn’t all just a dream haha.
Who has round “solitaires” (don’t know if this really counts because of the band) with diamonds on the band? Love the timeless look!
