Erm, that hasn’t happened to me.  I was engaged at the last wedding I went to and I was the same emotionally as the way I was at the wedding I attended right before getting engaged.

It’s definitely not just you lol. It’s like now that we’re engaged and planning our own weddings we know how much thought and consideration and meaning goes into everything we see at other people’s weddings and it makes us appreciate/understand them better. I used to laugh at girls who cried on SYTTD and now I cry right along with them, sometimes even when they’re not even crying themselves hahaha. And it’s because I found my dress and did the dress shopping thing so now I know what it’s ACTUALLY like, and I can sympathize better.

Pretty sure I was an emotional basketcase leading up to the wedding. I remember a kleenex commercial making me cry because it was about love or something sappy. The first wedding I went to as an engaged girl I struggled to hold back tears even though I didn’t really know the couple!!!

I’ve yet to cry at a wedding. But we made three self-professed non-criers bawl at ours!

ETA: Different story for TV/movie weddings though. I still can’t watch the video montage in the Scrubs season 8 finale without the waterworks starting the second Elliot appears in her wedding dress. Plus the song in the montage is the same one we used for our processional. I almost lost it just as I was about to walk down the aisle and that song started up, but I pulled it together.

I’ve always been highly emotional but weddings and planning ours has me even more so. The other day I could have cheerfully throttled Mr. C.  I asked if he would carry a handkerchief for me in his pocket on our wedding day and he informed me he’s planning on at least two for the ceremony alone :-p

Definitely not just you! I’ve always been a crier, but it’s become a whole lot worse lately. It’s a little ridiculous, actually. lol

Not just you!  I cry when watching Say Yes to the Dress sometimes! Any wedding shows, especially during the vows.
