@MissSlipper:  there are lots of people here who don’t like Pinterest but as a way of solidifying what you like and don’t like I think it’s fantastic. Do random searches and pin all those things that catch your eye. You’ll notice a theme appear!

@MissSlipper:  I think Emerald Green, purple and gold would go SO well together at a reception and for flowers!! Almost like a rich, elegant, forest vibe..

Why not serve Mexican food, wear a princess ball gown (disney-like), and have little baseball themed items here and there in the reception area? As well as give the groomsmen baseball cufflinks etc?

@MissSlipper:  is there anything you are both interested in ? both into sports? or camping?  ex. my Fiance and I are music lovers and that’s what brought us together. So our theme will be music. Or maybe base a theme on where you met your Fiance ? Something that goes well for both of you. If your really stuck then make it simple : a love theme. and go from there . Let me know ! As far as our colours go I pick blue and pink cause it’s his and my fav colours and they go well together , i’m mixing a little purple in there too .

@MissSlipper:  Emerald, purple, and gold are sometimes associated with New Orleans/Mardi Gras, so maybe there could be some kind of Masked Opera Ball type-theme going on? If you don’t know how to incorporate baseball, etc., don’t worry about throwing in some non-theme things here and there… I want to have jelly beans as part of the favors, but I’m not considering the wedding jelly bean-themed. You could always have some baseball-themed photos, etc.
