I take mine off when I’m at the gym or cooking something that would have my using my hands a lot.

I take it off when in water (including showers), when doing heavy cleaning/messing with any kind of cleaner/chemicals, and when lifting weights (I keep it on for cardio). Other than that, it is always on my finger.

I literally NEVER take mine off except for two things:

1) Lifting weights- leaving it on is a great way to scratch the band. :/

2) Touching raw meat. Raw meat (chicken especially) kind of grosses me out and I can’t have ANYTHING near/on my hands while I’m doing it ha ha. So no rings, bracelets, sleeves, etc.

ETA: Forgot- I also take it off when putting in hair product or putting on lotion/moisturizer.

I take mine off a lot, I think more than people usually do. I’m just paranoid. So I usually take it off for showering, sleeping, dishes or other chores that require submerging my hands in anything and if I’m going to the gym.

ETA – forgot cooking (if it’s messy). But I also just take it off and leave it on my desk or the table if I’m sitting working. I don’t know why!

I don’t have my ring yet (it’s being made), but I plan on wearing it almost always.  Also, I was married for 4 years before and never took my engagement and wedding ring off unless I was working on live electronics (don’t want metal melting on the finger from an accidental electrical charge) or soldiering (roughly the same reason… metal melted into finger=bad).  It looked as good as new when we spit up after over 4 years, I just cleaned it now and then (maybe every couple months) with jewelry cleaner/brush and took it for the 6 month checkups.  I never thought about taking them off then, and I can’t imagine this will be any different.  I also can’t imagine having a ring I couldn’t wear always, cause to me that’s part of the joy of it.

i don’t wear mine while cooking, cleaning, dishes, sleeping, swimming, etc.  i actually only wear mine when i go out then i take off my jewellery when i get home.  so i have my rings off more than i have them on.

I take it off to sleep, shower, workout, clean, and if I am handling raw meat then I take it off when cooking.

I only where mine when I’m leaving the house for work, errands, going out with friends, or to synagogue.

I don’t wear it to work out (sweaty!), clean or shower (chemicals and residue), or when I’m sleeping (leaves an imprint in my skin). I typically don’t even wear it around the house.

I never take mine off! I wear gloves to lift weights so I leave it on when I work out. I only take it off if I’m using a harsh chemical but that’s only happened once or twice. I haven’t swam in it yet though, that’s the only thing I’m scared to do because I worry it will fall off! I know plent of people who swim in theirs though, so I’m sure I’ll do it and get used to it. I figure the odds of losing it are WAY higher than the odds of it getting damaged by something, and it can always be cleaned.

I take it off when I go to bed, take a shower, when I’m getting ready for the day (make-up, hair, getting dressed, etc.), clean, cook (on the rare occasions that I do), put on sanitizer or lotion, and sometimes I take it off when trying clothes on.. it just feels more comfortable.  I leave it on at the gym because I wear work out gloves… and I started keeping it on when I wash my hands.

I pretty much put mine on when I leave for the day and take it off when I get back home…I like to keep that ring nice and shiny and clean!
