There is absolutely no reason why this is okay.  It is your day.  It doesn’t matter if the whole family disagrees… you are the bride and you can pull out your “bride card” at any point and veto any idea you don’t like.

Honestly, this is pretty mean of me, but I would tell her if she plans to announce her engagement at your wedding then she is no longer invited. It is your day for goodness sakes. No one should try to take away from that! I went to my fiance’s cousins wedding shortly after getting engaged and I definitely didn’t feel the need to talk about it. I will have my own time for that.

That is ridiculous!! You should definitely put up her email address and all the bees can send her their thoughts. How selfish of her to try to take away from YOUR day! ugghhh….

NO NO NO, how dare she!!!!  What a nasty piece of work! and after you’ve expressed you don’t want her to do it TWICE, she’s still going to go ahead! 

Let us know how this pans out and how your Maid/Matron of Honor deals with her.

You are right though, in that if she does go through with it, people will talk about her (not in a good way) for a long time!
