lavenderlady:  Thanks for the ideas, Bee. I’ll have to jot a list of things that he loves doing and interests etc to get me started with short-listing.

I like the engraved key-ring idea actually.

klove37:  Oh, that is beautiful!!!! I love the engraving 🙂

I got “I love you bubba” on the back (we call eachother bubba lol).

That is crazy fast shipping!! Mine won’t arrive for a little while because it was a pre-order on one of the newer ones. But it says it will ship June 10-15th.  I’m not expecting the proposal to come til closer to the end of summer so unless my boyfriend gave me false leads about the timing, I should have it with plenty of time 🙂

lavenderlady:  My SO doesn’t want a watch. Though I’m actually thinking of getting him the wooden watch fr Treehut. Main reason is because this will be his 1st watch from me and it’ll be the only one he’ll own. I think I might proceed and order one.

lavenderlady:  He doesn’t really want a watch to be honest. Maybe I should go cufflinks. Tiffany & Co set cost $540 AU

There’s others at a more cheaper option. We’re talking $30 AU

mahalkita:  I love your phone idea! Anything that is used every day and helps your relationship, and reminds him of you… Win!

I also like the idea of something he wants vs. something he needs.

He has that weird body chemistry where he drains watch batteries, so I found him an antique wind up watch and got it engraved:

lavenderlady:

I found something!

http://lovebookonline.com/

I’ve started the process. Front page only btw. Lol. So keen to just finish work and re-commence the book so I can give it to him this weekend! Because I already know proposal will occur this weekend! And I need to be prepared! Eeeeek!

What do you think, Bee?

anonp:  if you want unlimited pages use their engagement-book section. I actually used one of these in my proposal and she often texts me pictures of it as she is looking over it again! Great idea. I believe I received mine about 3 days faster than the shipping anticipated. If you aren’t on a deadline I wouldn’t pay for the expedited.
