SoontobeSelwood: Agree with PP’s comments. Love the ball gown but dislike the sweater dress. I understand what you mean though about wanting the sweater dress to be casual. Can you get a sweater dress that’s longer and more fitted like the suggested photos but wear knee high flat boots to add the casual vibe?

So after all the opinions I have scrapped the sweater dress and actually came up with a new look completely and includes jeans! Tell me what you think!!

SoontobeSelwood: Yay, another bee who sews!!! I’ve always felt like sewing is a dying art, so it makes me happy to see that I’m not the only one! Such a gorgeous dress!
Edited to add that I love your second look!

SoontobeSelwood: Very nice! Jeans and a white tee will always be timeless (however, i thought you looked adorable in the sweater dress – with the addition of leggings). And OMG I WANT THAT BALLGOWN! Can’t wait to see your pics!

SoontobeSelwood: Looks great, though with leggings & boots the sweater dress would also work. And beautiful ballgown, that’s lovely!

Congrats on your amazing weight loss!
I, for one, really like the slouchy sweater look- with skinnies and boots, as many others have pointed out. Leather leggings would be cute too- and flats. Very “model off duty” vibe, which I love. And for a fall engagement shoot in the woods around Lake Tahoe? Seems like a perfectly cozy, casual outfit.
I don’t blame you for wanting something a bit tighter to show off your new figure, however!
