I like them but my English brain is screaming Saturday and September, Please! … I get that its a design but it is like when people write nite instead of night on a flyer or something.

I like the general look and colors, but I think there are too many different fonts going on

I think it should be Saturday, September 29th at 7:00 pm or Saturday, September 29th at 7 pm (with a space between 7 and pm.)  The year is probably not necessary.

    Then:

Please RSVP by September 21st to [email protected] or Please RSVP by Friday September 21st to [email protected].

Just suggestions.  I just designed my STD and invites and had that too many fonts thing going on as well, lol.  I think your invite looks better now with just those few fonts.

I don’t like the y loop coming down and covering part of your FI’s name. It makes it look a little smushed. Maybe put him first if you want to use a loopy font on your name?

    Can we discuss the background?

@Mrs Christopher:  Note the bride is in South Africa. North America writes the month first (“September 29”) but UK and Australia write the day first (“29th of September”). I’m not sure about about South Africa, but I suspect they follow the UK convention.

    ETA: but both are acceptable

@AlwaysSunny:  I thought the bride’s name was suppossed to be first on all wedding related things though?

OP maybe make your name and his matching fonts so they don’t clash?

@paula1248:  Ah in that case I have no idea how to write it.  I know in Europe they do dates like 31/3/12 instead of 3/31/12 but I had no idea that carried over into writing as well.

Hope your invite worked out OP. 🙂
