My BFF brought her dog to her e-shoot and they turned out really cute.  She just had her sister go with them so she could take care of the dog.  If you really want your pup in it maybe you can bring a friend to watch the dog and she’ll even get to witness your photo shoot!  I’d do it for you!!

We had our e-photos done in August and the only things I wish we had done was include our dogs and also held up small posters that read Save the Date.  I saw a card where they used that picture for their Save-The-Date Cards and it was really cute.  Do you have any passions or hobbies you could borrow props from?

Yea…I don’t know about what props to bring. If you don’t think thats your style then don’t bring any. I agree with previous posters though, you can definitely get a picture with you doggie, but have someone else there to handle her. Check and see if pets are allowed in the botanical gardens if you don’t know whether they are or aren’t (don’t want to hassle with that!). Oooh and you could get her a pretty little collar in your school colors?

We had our pictures done with our pups. They turned out great!

If you want your dog in them, I’d say go for it. I would suggest bringing someone alone to watch your dog and taking your dog included pictures toward the end of the shoot.

Our photo shoot took over 3 hours! Some of our pictures were done with only the pups and they took awhile to get a good shot. The ones with all 4 of us were easier to get done so I would say you should be fine including your dog but do it after you get the other pictures you want.

I was going to suggest the same thing as Shaeme, I’ve seen Save the Dates where the couple made Large posters that say STD and then the other the actual date, it is cheap, looks super cute, and you dont have to be artsy or whimsical to do it!!  You could even do something like buy two small chalkboards and write it on those and hold them up, or (maybe im going way overboard here but) something like the two of you standing there with your dog in the middle, but the dog is wearing a Tshirt with the STD info on it, and he can be turned around but looking back at the camera… I dont know, lol, just a thought… I was trying to think of something you could do involving your school colors…hmmmmm

How about a cool vintage chair? That could look great in pictures.

Ours were last week and we had actual ice cream cones as props.  I have no idea how they came out yet but I hope they will be cute!

What are your hobbies? Normally I would suggest balloons … but since that’s not your thing … you could always pull from areas of your life, ya know? You could always plan to do prop-less engagement photos – there’s no harm in that, either!

I think using these pictures as table numbers would be a great idea. A friend of mine just got married and they took pictures of places/thing that were important to them (either with/without them in the pictures) and wrote an explaination as why it was significant and used these as table “numbers”.
