I was wondering if anyone has done/or has seen some really different Engagment photo sessions. I would love to do them as well but we are just not field/park/graffiti/home session type people. I love those ones though and there is nothing wrong with that – but what do you do when you dont really fit any of those molds. I have seen the Bee with the Ikea Shoot and that one is freaking awesome!.. And the girl who had her E-photos at Disneyland that is really cute too.
Please share 🙂

@fashionbug: I say use props of things you both enjoy. For example Fiance and I went to a skating rink on our first date: i.e Skates.
Use the location of significant places for you guys: Where you first kissed, met, went on a date, etc.
Go with a theme that shows u as a couple.
List what you want exhibited in your engagement photos: Love, fun, quirky, etc
Hope this helps. Google : Unique engagement photos in dfferent search engines.

@Mz Izzie: Totally agree! Great suggestions! 🙂
I say just think about your favorite things to do together or what matters to you as a couple and just do that, even if it’s not the standard.
For our engagement sessions we’re planning to go to significant locations from our relationship and even subtly re-enact certain moments (not literally re-enact them, but capture the spirit of the moments). So each location will be personal and meaningful to us, which I think makes e-pics unique and special!
We’re going to take pictures at the train tracks where we had many long talks, my college campus (especially inside the beautiful old library!) where we used to hang out, eating ice cream under a tree where we had our first date, riding bikes in Santa Barbara, and we’ll get some vintage inspired shots at Disneyland.
