Fiance and I are getting engagement photos done at the end of the month. I picked a couple dresses that I think I will use, but I still keep thinking maybe I want to wear something else lol. What do you guys think of my choices?
What did you all wear for your engagement photos?

I wore a long black with white polka dot dress and a white tea length fit and flare (in my avatar) for mine.
both of those are cute, I guess it depends which flatters your coloring more.

- Wedding: May 2016 - Home, sweet home
We dressed casually for ours. We are plain people. They turned out beautiful though. Our photographer is amazing.

It was winter when we had our photos done and our photographer also recommended choosing colours that would work well with our home’s decor. I wore a pale purple dress (about knee length) with a cream/mint green floral print, black stockings, grey ankle boots with a chunky heel, a grey cardigan (with diamante detailing on the shoulders) and a cream infinity scarf. I only wore the one outfit, but I did take the scarf off towards the end because I was getting warm so those photos do look different.
If you were wondering, my Fiance wore blue jeans with a pale purple and white striped button up, a grey jumper over the top and grey Converse sneakers. Everyone has commented on how well our outfits coordinated with each other without being too matchy lol.

Our shoot’s not until June. I’ll be wearing this…

- Wedding: April 2017 - Hogarths, Solihull
I wore my favourite dress with black tights and sparkly boots. Fiance wore his favourite jumper (which happens to go woo!) black jeans and converse.
For us, it was about looking like ourselves but also wearing stuff that made us confident.

I LOVE the dresses you posted! We did two outfits, one more dressy and more casual! We complimented each other but didn’t get too matchy matchy.

We did 3 outfits: casual, kinda dressy, and dressy. Here’s a photo of each. Also totally agree with the complimentary but not matchy matchy!

I don’t think you can go wrong with wearing a casual dress. I woudn’t wanna look too formal or overly dramtic. A bit nicer than everyday look with some accessories, cute shoes, and no overdone hair/makeup should do it.

Did super casual and coordinating.

we went casual for ours. I kept reading that you’ll look more natural and comfortable in something that you would normally wear. We had ours in late fall, so we both did nice jeans and sweaters (that didn’t match, but looked nice together)

We kept it casual. He wore a long sleeve shirt with jeans and I wore a long sleeve chiffon shirt with jeans. We also put on our football jerseys for part of the shoot. We wanted to look and feel like ourselves and we could have felt silly in dressy outfits.

We’re getting ours done at the end of the month at the Ringling Museum. I’m planning on doing the two part dress (totally out of character for me, but how often do i get to do a fun photoshoot?! And excuse the mess) And then either the white or blue dress as my second option.
