@MsNarwhal:  I don’t think it’s too dressy at all. The length of it keeps it casual. It’s really cute! What an awesome backdrop for your photos too – have fun!

I think it should be great if his shirt is relatively formal and your accessories are casual — boots rather than heels kinda thing! That looks like a really interesting backdrop for photos.

i think it wil look great. it doesnt seem overy dressy. its one of those dresses you can dress up or down and since your Fiance wil be in jeans i think it wil have the attitude you are going for

I don’t think it’s too dressy.  Can’t wait to (hopefully) see the pics!

@MsNarwhal:  Haha, we hiked up a little mountain for our photos and I was thinking along the same lines — no freaking way am I wearing heels! I even wore leggings under my dress so everything would be covered while climbing. 🙂

I didn’t notice on first glance that the dress is black with tan pattern — I think that will help even more because black is so easy to dress up or down! I can’t wait to see the pictures too, if you’re going to share!

It’s not too dressy but you might “blend” into the background.  I like the idea of jeans and a basic top.  Gives off a laid-back vibe.  Maybe some cute boots to match!
