Um, not a lot of fall foliage around in OC.  Maybe try going to a specialized garden?  The first one that came to my mind was the Earl Burns Miller Japanese garden.  They will probably have some maples that turn colors in the fall.  Check out the pic.


But if you want a place that’s a little more southern california looking even though you won’t have fall colors, check out the Oak Canyon Nature Center.

Check out Laguna Beach and Dana Point.  Dana Point has the beach and I believe there’s a bridge.  I got married in Pines Park, Dana Point and the view is awesome.  Basically a park on a cliff overlooking the ocean.  Pine trees are there as well.  Then there’s Heritage Park which has a ton of trees.  There’s Lantern Park that has a ton of trees.  Dana Point is beautiful.

Tewinkle Park in Costa Mesa has great water features and foilage.  Also Eisenhower Park in Orange has a lake, stream, and great space/trees.  Both are free (unlike Irvine Regional).
