I want to preface this by saying, I’m not going to be much help because I’m currently freaking out about what to wear for my epics, but no one’s responded yet and so I figured at the very least I’d bump this for you 🙂  I would say browse the gallery under “epics” and I think there’s a thread around here asking for epic outfits.

Here’s a few things that have been told to me:

  • Avoid prints, especially small ones because it will make the pictures look too busy
  • Avoid matchy matchy outfits, but make sure the colors you and your Fiance are wearing don’t clash (ie-you can both wear “fall colors” but don’t wear the same blue colored polo with dark wash jeans)
  • Don’t wear anything too flowy because it could make you look big, and don’t wear anything too tight or too trendy
  • Make sure you wear something that’s “you” and that you’re comfortable in

Good luck!!!

@littlegraykitten: Agree except the prints thing is overrated.

Look at pics of yourself from other occasions — what do you like? Go in that direction.

I wouldn’t worry about wearing your wedding colors. I’ve heard to go with colors that aren’t too bright. You’ve been given good advice above, and I would also say just go with an outfit that you LOVE and feel so comfortable in. Also, since it’s the middle of the summer I would caution against wearing anything that shows a ton of skin (tank top, short shorts,) I personally think lots of skin in pictures doesn’t usually look great, and most people tend to dress more conservative as they get older, so you won’t want to look back on your pictures and regret anything about them.
