I am just curious on how long it took to get your pics back. We are at 5 weeks since we got ours taken and we haven’t gotten ours back. We did get a preview of 15 of the pictures about 2 weeks ago. I just wanted to get a ball park on how long they take to get. Thanks!

It took me exactly 6 weeks, but the typical time is about two weeks. I had to contact my photographer a few times and keep reminding her that I needed them asap. I would contact your photographer and ask for an update.

- Wedding: July 2017 - Vineyard on Long Island
We’re 4 weeks since we took our photos, but our photog stated in her contract that it could take up to 90 days. So I know we have the possibility of 2 months to go, but I still check her blog every day haha. Also, October in my area is peak wedding season, so I know she has wedding at least every friday/sat/sunday and only has a few days a week to work on editing…. (but fingers crossed we get them soon!!)

Mine took 3 weeks, but my photographer prides himself on his quick turnaround–our contract for the wedding photos is 4 weeks maximum (I was like 0_0 are you serious? I dont mind giving you more time..) and I wasn’t sure if that would extend to E-pics but I guess it did.

- Wedding: April 2016 - Country Club
Ours took 2 weeks, which is what the photographer told us ahead of time.

Mine took 9 days, but it depends the level of your photographer and how much business they have. More well known photographers will take longer as they most likely have more business.

Ours tooks a couple months but we were told ahead of time and we had them taken during peak wedding time. I know there were only 2 people there that handled the editing and they were also photogs so I just let them do thier thing and not rush them. They came out beautiful!
Waiting is hard, but usually very worth it

I think ours took just about 2 weeks

Thanks all!!! I def want to not rush the photographer but it just stinks cause we are getting married during a holiday weekend and I was hoping to have had the save the dates out by now. Sadly we had to rebook our session like 4 times in the summer time due to weather. I was just trying to get any idea of what is normal.
What would be consider a peak wedding time? I would assume it was the summer.

FutureWifey2016: My turnaround for portrait session is 2 weeks. That being said, I’ve had a huge influx of my clients all wanting their engagement sessions during super busy wedding months and normally I’d tell them that wasn’t available I mangaged to fit them in. In doing so I’ve been very upfront that turnaround might be a bit longer than my average 2 weeks. I’d say 2-4 weeks is pretty average turnaround on a portrait sessino.

We had our engagement photos done a week before our photographer’s wedding. She assured us she would have them done before her wedding, but it ended up being a month later. Which honestly was kind of expected, so not really a big deal. I hope you get yours soon!

I’m waiting for mine as well, ugh time is going by so sloooow!
As we wrapped up our engagement shoot (10/12), I asked my photographer how long it would take. She said it would be 2.5-3 weeks. It has now been 2 weeks + 1 day..I’m itching to email her, but I don’t want to be a nag when she said at least 2.5 weeks. If I don’t hear anything by this Friday, I’ll ping her ;-P
Yes, peak wedding season is typically mid-May thru September, Saturday evenings are the most $$$.

Too damn long…
It was a lil over 2 months, and she didn’t give us a preview. Even after I told her my sob story lol. I would’ve liked at least one pic, but nope.
