We only wore one outfit at our pictures, no theme.

I never heard of changing outfits during an e-session before WB.  We haven’t done them yet, but I’m planning on just wear 1 outfit.

we only did one outfit as well, and we were just us.  we did buy new clothes for it and made sure the colors looked good together though

We each wore one outfit. I preferred it that way; we didn’t feel rushed or stressed during the shoot.

I have seen people with different outfits but we’re just doing one.  What kind of outfits are you ladies wearing?  I’m still deciding.  Ours will be Sept 30th in upstate NY

I did a retro-inspired outfit…green and white polka dot halter dress with red heels. He just wore a t-shirt and jeans. 🙂

We will probably just stick with one outfit.  It will probably be something we would normally wear (I rarely wear dresses) like nice jeans, heels, and dressy top for me, jeans and button up for him. No theme but I may bring along a book and bubbles for props just in case!

If on a Friday night, I found you and your fiance at your favorite place to go hang out, have dinner, hang with friends, etc, what would you all be wearing? What would you be doing?

That is what your epics should reflect. They should be you.

I was sooo hungover during our e-pics I couldn’t bring myself to blow dry my hair or wear the cute dress and heels I wanted to. HAHA!

That said-we looked exactly like we normally do hanging out on a Saturday afternoon. Our photographer did a documentary of our day. She took pics of us shopping, cooking, hanging with our dog. Then we took some funny ones at the end of the day. They turned out really cute. I don’t normally hang out with my (now husband) and kiss in the woods, so that isn’t what we wanted to take pics of. Here they are if you would like to see.

THanks Bill!

We had a meeting with our photog at her house before we decided to ask her to do our wedding. It was really fun, and our personalities just meshed so well. Regarding the e-pics, we went back and forth for a while coming up with ideas. We really thought about it and talked about what we wanted. It was also good because on our wedding day I wasn’t as nervous in front of the camera and she gotten used to our personalities, what we were and were not comfortable doing, and she just knew what types of photos we wanted based on this experience. Definitley use your e-pics to get to know your photographer, invite them to stay for dinner and use the day to form a relationship. It really makes the wedding photgraphy experience great.

I think some girls get too caught up in what they are wearing for e-pics, and they don’t end up looking like themselves. If you don’t have a relationship with the photographer and at least an outline for the day of the shoot-things just look random and awkward. That is just my experience and advice, and I hope the OP finds it helpful even though my outfit was a bust. =)

We sorta wore two outfits. For the first one, I wore black shorts and a pretty, flowy top with a white lace tank top underneath that I wore for the second outfit (which was a A line dress). All I did was take the flowy top off, slip on the dress and then take off the shorts (because there were no places to change and so we had to do it in the car). My Fiance wore shorts that went with two different color polo shirts that he just switched.

While we did buy new clothes to wear for our e-pics, we picked options that we would usually wear but a little nicer. i.e, instead of a tight tank top, I wore a flowy tank top.
