Engagement photos with a Christmas theme for a wedding in February? HELP!

I’m sure it will look lovely and festive. people display photos from a Fall engagement shoot yet have summer weddings etc. You’re over thinking it.

I mean, as long as you aren’t wearing tacky sweaters and wrapped in garland I think lights are acceptable.

Well, our engagement pictures were taken during the summer and we’re getting married in December.  I think it’s fine. smile

We were so so so close to sending Christmas Card Save the dates… I just couldn’t get our engagement pics set up in time. lol

I don’t think engagement photos go hand in hand with the date of someone’s wedding. If you are planning on doing a STD picture from your engagement photos you could always try to find one that is not as Christmas-y looking but honestly I don’t think it matters. You should do whatever you think will look good! I would totally do the Christmas light decor for mine if I were you!

I don’t think engagement photos need to match the wedding at all. Our engagement photos were casual and outside during the peak of foliage but our wedding is indoors in the middle of November in a fancy Courthouse that has been renovated into an event space. If you like Christmas themes by all means go for a Christmas theme.
