We’re waiting until it’s nicer outside as well, but our wedding isn’t until September.  Our sole purpose for the E-pics is to use them in the photo guestbook so we’re not in any hurry to get them dome.

I’m thinking we’ll have 3 different outfits.  We have 3 locations in mind and will wear a different outfit at each one.

We took ours in March even though the wedding wasnt till July, we took them when all the cherry blossoms were out and i got the prints back soon enough that i was able to send them off to get a book made to use as a guest book right away.

Getting engagement pictures done sooner for me was nice as it was one more thing out of the way, no more stressing about outfits etc and I was able to make the book right away and could cross off “guest book” on my huge to do list.

I made things simple. One outfit, one prop and we just walked along the beach in the city for two hours or so and took some pictures (I spent more time figuring out an outfit then i took pictures!!).

We took our engagement photos as soon as we got engaged! We wanted them at our engagement party and everyone loved them. We put them in a little photo album for everyone to see. We also put one in one of those frames where you can sign.

We took ours shortly after we got engaged. Theres no right time to do them. Do them when you want.

We just did ours this month. We want them in time to send out our save the dates, and we want to put them on our website, so we needed to get them done early. Hopefully we’ll get them back by the end of the month or early March. I guess it depends on what you want to do with them. 🙂

We did ours early because we wanted to use them for Save-The-Date Cards.  So we got engaged in September, did e-pics in November and got married in July.

But there is no set time frame within the engagement period that they are supposed to be done.  Whatever works for you, your Fiance and your photographer is fine!

We are doing two engagment sessions.  One in Fed Ex field where the football team Washington Redskins play and the other session in March when the Cherry Blossoms are out.  We want to use them as a photo guest book and for the save the dates and on our website!

We are in a rush to do the Redskins pictures do to the potential lockout, and don’t want to wait so we are doing ours this coming Monday!  I can’t wait!!  I still want to do the others at end of March beginning of April and don’t want to wait until next year since our day is May 19, 2012.

I only wish I could loose more by Monday. LOL  We’re happy with taking them early.  It’s up to each couple all are different!

I don’t think that there’s necessarily a “right” time to do them. It really depends on what you plan on doing with them. We wanted to use ours for our Save-The-Date Cards so we took them 6 months before the wedding. If we weren’t planning on using them for that we probably would’ve waited a little longer but I absolutely love ours so I’m glad we got them done when we did!
