Our photographer (rather expensive for this area) had a package that I was most interested in because he includes engagement session and bridal session with a canvas from both in addition to his wedding coverage.. this means that for alllllllllll that dollar I am not about to try and make my mop look decent so I am scheduling another trial session with my hair salon that’s handling the wedding..
BUT.. I don’t know that I want my clip in extensions for a full on bridal look.. I have dark (when freshly colored) brown hair that’s straight as a pin and not inclined to behave well..
how did you guys decide what to do for your engagements? Anyone use extensions even tho your normal look is shorter/smaller hair? I’m torn because I work from home and more often than not while I am trying to grow my hair in this south Louisiana heat my hair is tossed up and rarely sees styling til the humidity goes away.. I honestly would use my normal hair dresser BUT I want another make up session after the air brush experience wasn’t what I thought it would be in that I didn’t like how it wore on me — and that you couldnt blend if something messed your face up.

I think your engagement pics should look natural, like you, maybe just a bit more polished.

@MsDontRushME: I was thinking the same thing, i was also looking into extensions for i have very fine baby hair, i was going to dye my own hair a few days prior and try to find maybe clip ons or whatnot (im not girlly so i dodnt know what to look for) being we are doing ours in the fall i was maybe going to wear a wooly kinitted hat? being my hair also frizzes easily IDK…ide like to know others ideas on this!

I went with natural. Unfortunately it was 99% humidity and 90° that day, so it ended up a little frizzier and poofier than I would have liked.
Early and behaved:
Frizzy and humid:

@BeachBride2014: your frizzy and humid is CUTE tho. mine is just stringy and uncute.. i guess we really are our own worst critics?!
@AndysCraftsNmore ~ I did major research on clip ins.. I knew if I was spending money I wanted something that looked decent in my hair and that would last for at least the trials, the bridals, and the day of (2 trials planned) so I found Foxy Locks out of England which were decently priced but a few reviews made the comment around the 4th wear they got frizzy … so I dug a little deeper and found Hair Secrets out of Australia and with free shipping it ended up pretty decent for some BEAUTIFUL hair. There was a guy who did drag in the salon while I did my 1st trial and he was freaking out — major compliment in my opinion. The clip ins for fine hair (which is what I got) were GORGEOUS. The hair has dimension and doesnt look flat. I was planning on having them cut into wear now but decided I need the length for my wedding day hair so I have to wait, but I am seriously excited. they have awesome color choices and if you search you can find a free shipping coupon!
