Personally, I think it’s too busy, especially in the second picture with the denim jacket. But, this look is just not my style, so I might be biased here. If it’s what you wear all the time, and you feel great in it, wear it!

I think showing just those few inches between the dress and boots has a shortening effect. I would go with a little sandal or wedges with that dress, or a shorter dress with the boots.

@britneyn76:  I wouldn’t say it’s too busy, but I do prefer it with the jean jacket. I will say, though, that our photographer was pretty against either of us wearing any white for our engagement photos.

I think you look nice, though. And if that’s something you would wear normally, then I say go for it! Just think of the engagements as being a dressier version of your normal everyday attire. And most of all – have fun!

It’s a really cute outfit if you’re an actual country girl. I think the whole city/suburban girl dressing like a cowgirl has been way overdone recently!

I do like it…but I don’t like the denim jacket with it. I think a thin sweater would look much nicer but that’s just my opinion. 🙂
