Next friday we are going for our engagment pictures(yay!) and i’m just looking for some inspiration. we are going to a park around here for the pictures so the pictures are going to be outside(hopefully the weather is nice!) i know i don’t want the posed pictures only(i guess a few are ok). i want them to look more relsaxed and casual…so show me your ‘not so posed’ engagment photos for some inspiration :O)

That’s what we went for, too. Our photographer was a great help in making us feel at ease and giving us some direction, but not too much. If you want to check ours out:

I would tell your photographer that.. .I know what youre saying and Im DYING for a good photographer… but they are the artistic ones leave it to them… just tell them ahead of time…
PS I used to live in buffalo.. I miss it so much!! what park are you doing it at if you dont mind me asking?
Look at Ladolceblog.com… they are the photographers im unhealthily obsessed with because I feel like even the posed pictures arent posed you could send your photographers to a website to better explain exactly what youre looking for! good luck

our photographers i’m sure are gonna be excellent about the non-posed photos…their pictures are amazing, and don’t always look super posed. it was one of the main reasons why i chose them. we are going to delaware park

Hmm..the first two pics were unposed, but the last two were posed. I LOVE the “natural” ones, but I love the non-traditional posed ones too!

As a photographer, I tell the couple to do whatever comes naturally to them and I’ll give guidance from there. After a few shots, they become more comfortable with themselves being photographed. An experienced photographer will have ideas already and as they get to know you as a couple better, ideas tend to flow. Some couples are very effectionate, while others are more reserved. Just relax and have fun with it, it will show in the pictures! Good luck.
