Fiance and I have our enagement shoot this evening. We’re doing the photos at a park with a wooded area by a river and then will move in to the historic downtown area for a few “city” shots.
Any last minute tips? How did you relax and start to act natural?
Wish me luck!

@MeganRae1230: Sounds beautiful! If your photographer is good, he’ll help you relax. Maybe have a glass of wine beforehand? I don’t know. I think you’ll just relax as you get used to it.

@MeganRae1230: Yay! It is such an exciting day 🙂
To relax, I’d say just focus on your fiance. And don’t be afraid to be silly! Even if you are a bit nervous at first, you’ll loosen up as it goes on. Have fun!

I need to know this, too – ours are on Thursday! Good luck!

The thing that helped me feel the most natural was focusing on my Fiance instead of the photographer or the camera. I’m not trying to sound cheesy, but looking into his eyes calmed me. He made me laugh and smile and look like “me.”

@Keltaena: Wine sounds like a good plan!
@sarahbabs: That’s what I’m counting on, the first little bit being stiff and awkward and then getting in to it.
@Juliepants: Good luck to you as well!
@Gemstone: Sounds like good advice!
@AliveWithLove: Thanks! Good luck to you too!
