And they told me green dress + red shoes = catastrophe…;P Those are three of maybe 150, haha.

Just posted mine up today – http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/engagement-photos-16

I wore something that felt like me, and my fiance did the same. We like to dress up, so we did, but not to a level where it felt fake. I’d recommend starting with what you feel best in when you’re going out with friends, etc, and go from there.

Have you thought about where you’re shooting yet? That can make a big difference.

PS: at Statutory Grape, I love all the color you used!

@Prettyinpink89: Thanks! It’s actually the one I wore when I graduated from HS four years ago, lol. I think I found it at Wet Seal.

These were our Christmas Card photos last year, but they turned out well…

then our photographer photoshoped this one (we love it):

I would say just be comfortable and wear something that it not “trendy” and you’ll still love in a few years!

Here are a few of mine, taken in October 2008.  We were in the Rockies and probably should have had on more layers, we were shaking at the end!

These were a couple of our faves. We did ours in mid-November. It was in Portland and pretty chilly! I would say comfortable and warm with a pinch of cute!

I chose two outfits that I felt represented my personality and were comfortable. Don’t be afraid to let your personality show- I sported red lipstick for the second outfit against the advice of several friends of mine, but it looked awesome!

We actually just took ours yesterday!  Our photographer suggested a city park that has a few old buildings, and it was the perfect setting!  As far as fun things, try to be yourself.  I brought a little chalk board thinking it would make for some cute pics but the best shots were candid and not preplanned! Here’s a few of ours

We had our engagement pics done a few months ago (a few days before I got braces).  My photographer (amberleechristey.com) did a GREAT job.  We just let her do our magic.  As for wardrobe, Fiance wore what he wore to work that day+shorts, and I tried to wear outfits that felt like me…sorry they’re so big, I can’t figure out how to resize!  And I hope my wonderful photographer doesn’t mind me posting these :).

We decided to go pretty formal, since how often does one really have an excuse to dress up?  (Sorry for posting these pics so much lately!)
