I can only give general ideas since I’m not from the area, but what about a park you enjoy, a museum. Is there a botanical gardens area (may have some photography limitations. Be sure to check.) What about an industrial park for something edgy? You could also do a shoot around downtown or in an artsy district. Shoot near a river (close to a lake.)

Hope my vague ideas spark something!

A friend of mine was building a portfolio and I volunteered FH and I for a mini-photo shoot. We went to this garden area with a teeny water fall. The weird part is the garden is along this hill with a graveyard on top. Still, the garden was beautiful, hardly any people around and I got some nice pictures out of it! Maybe you should google some lakes or rivers in your area, parks and gardens. Check out some friends photo albums on facebook and see where their photos are taken and ask where they were taken and steal their ideas.

Hey if your not into leaving the house dont! Ive seen some amazing photos that were the couple never steps foot out of the house. maybe you can stage some kitchy 50″s house wife shot with vintage props and clothing or stage a pillow fight in your bedroom this could lead to same amazing photos and be more meaningful to you because it reflect you and your Fiance
