I’m like a picture perfectionist…you know…the ones that take a million shots of herself in slightly different angles?
Our shoot is on Sunday at 3:30ish and after buying a few props, I still need to do my nails and buy some outfits..
I can’t stop thinking about different pinterest inspiration photos I saved and hoping they come out the same way but at the same time looking natural and not all posey because i’m thinking of them too much!
🙁
How did you feel?

I was nervous too! Don’t try and emulate poses you’ve seen on pinterest – just be natural. Your photographer will guide you through how to do this. They will look great!
I had nightmares about my e-pics and they ended up turning out even better than I ever imagined they would despite it being super hot and windy that day!
Can’t wait to see your pics! 🙂

Just take a deep breath and relax! I was really nervous for our engagement pictures, but they turned out great! We had so much fun doing them (even in 100+ degree weather!)

We’re taking out tomorrow and it’s all I can think about. I can’t wait till it’s over at this point. I have stressed everything from outfit, shoes, jewelry, make-up, props. And fiancee picked out his shirt in 10 minutes when we went to the mall. lol What are you using for props? I just orderd the giant round balloons, I have a banner with our date and small chalk boards we can write stuff on. Good luck and post pics!!

I’m nervous too- our shots are next Saturday. We have literally nowhere to shop where we live & had to driver 4hrs to Medford, OR last weekend just to get to a real mall & real shopping! I still have a few things to pickup this weekend, but mostly just props. I was thinking a picnic basket, champagne & glasses, blanket, umbrella (we live on the coast & the weather is unpredictable), not sure what else. I really like the chalkboard idea!
I was even thinking about having me & the man practice posing in the mirror before hand– silly I know but I’m also a perfectionist…. This weekend should be fun- I’m doing a trial run with my makeup & hair DIY ideas and MORE SHOPPING!

Mine are Sunday too! You’re making me feel bad that I havent “prepared” – aside from figuring out where we’ll be taking the pictures. I figure i’ll pick out a few outfits that day, take a bit of extra time doing my hair/makeup and just wing it! I want our shoot ot be extremely natural – our photograoher is amazing, so I have no doubts that it will be awesome! Just stop stressing and planning, you will get the best results when you’re relaxed and enjoying yourself.

So I played dress up tonight….I kinda wish I would have gotten a white dress to wear….uhk……darn..
I’m wearing jeans boots and a cozy sweater and fingerless cotton gloves….and also wearing black jeans and a pemplum 3/4 sleeve dark blue top with black shoes….
I MIGHT wear a sundress thingy since it’s supposed to be like in the 70s Sunday….and it’s a purple floral print sleeveless.

@BeckyS0: I got the chalkboards at Michael’s crafts and they were super cheap. I figured we could also let people use them in the photobooth at the wedding. I saw one post on here of engagement pics where he was holding one saying marry me and she was holding one saying yes please and I thought it was so cute.

@BellaDee: Your outfits sound perfect. Don’t sweat the white dress, you’ll have plenty of pics of you in a white dress 🙂 It’s going to be cold here today, I think in the 50’s but sunny so that’s good. I have make-up at 1130. I’m still nervous. haha Good luck!

ours was 1.5 hours and we got 300 pics back! She said that was way more than typical but she couldn’t choose the best ones – typically she said you get 75-125.
