We are having our engagement pictures done saturday and I have NO idea what to wear. I have these 2 outfits that I like, so please give me your opinions. We are doing pictures outside by a pond, by an old barn, and possible doing a campfire/smores.
Outfit 1: strapless royal blue eyelet lace dress with belt and light brown cardigan.
outfit 2: navy blue printed/striped dress with a cardigan that matches the peachy orange in the flowers.
Sorry the pics are so big and the lighting is so crappy. Also, excuse the clutter around me, we just moved. 🙂

When I looked at your first pic, my first thought was ” This girl doesn’t belong in Full-Figured”. I suggest you pick that outfit. The second dress is a bit busy.

they’re both really cute. the navy one is a little more sophisticated while the floral dress is more fun. what vibe are you going for?

Another vote for the blue dress!!

The solid blue dress with the tan cardigan is my choice. I think all of the patterns going on in the second dress don’t give you a cohesive look, which doesn’t necessarily make you appear larger, just busier.

@britt821: The second one is cute, but only if you were standing in front of one-color walls. Once you add in scenery, that’s going to be way too much for pictures.

They’re both really cute, but I think you look great in the first dress!

Wear Both! I had three outfits for my shoot and FI had two. Clothes seem to fall differently each day and one outfit might compliment the background better. More outfits (max at three) means you get more styles to choose from!

The second dress does not photograph well because of the patterns. Dress #1, however, looks fantastic! Wear it, for sure!

As a photographer I encourage clients to Bering extra outfits just in casThorne outfit clashes with the location. I also like variety in the images. any who, talk to your photog, they usually can give you helpfull tips. 🙂

Our photographer suggested we bring a couple of outfits when we go to do ours. Why don’t you bring both and see which one works better for the setting?
